On Saturday the KTT volunteers met to build a new flowerbed on the New Line - here they are, hard at work:

The volunteers worked hard all morning, cutting sleepers, moving topsoil and putting a covering of stones on the new bed.
A path cut into the bed invites people to look through the monument to the mountains beyond. Roses will be planted in the bed next week in order to provide vibrant colour during the summer months.
Thanks to all the volunteers for their hard work and particular thanks to Killorglin Community Council and South Kerry Development Partnership for securing funding to help make this project a success!
